How to Get There
Free shuttle bus (recommended)
The shuttle departs from:
- Terminal 2 — Arrivals floor, lane 23B
- Terminal 3 — stop 18
The bus does not stop at Terminal 1. T1 passengers: take the free inter-terminal shuttle to T2 first, then catch the Sorano-Yu bus. Travel time: approximately 10 minutes.
By train
From Keisei Narita Station → Keisei Higashi Narita Line (5 min) → Shibayama Railway (3 min) → Shibayama-Chiyoda Station → walk 3 minutes.
Note: IC cards (Suica/PASMO) do not work on the Shibayama Railway segment. Buy a full ticket through to Shibayama-Chiyoda at Keisei Narita Station before boarding.
By car
Free parking for 24 hours with facility use. Enter your navigation destination as "Shibayama-Chiyoda Station" — searching "Soranoyu" may route you incorrectly. On Google Maps, search "Soranoyu Spa Resort."

Natural hot spring baths (3F)
100% natural hot spring water. Public baths are separated by gender. Open-air rooftop bath with views of aircraft on approach to Narita. Amenities (towels, shampoo etc.) available for purchase or included depending on plan.
Bedrock sauna (岩盤浴)
Lie on heated natural stone slabs. No time limit with the bedrock bath plan. Unisex area with provided wear.
Nap room / rest area (2F)
Anyone with an entry plan can use the 2F rest area and reclining chairs free of charge. Manga available. Power outlets at chairs and restaurant counter seats.
Restaurant — Ama no Gawa
Japanese food using local ingredients. No entry fee required — walk-in without bathing is allowed. Accommodates up to 30 guests, private tatami room available for groups of 10+.
Capsule hotel
Check-in 17:00, check-out 9:00. Includes dial-lock luggage locker and powder room. No co-sleeping in capsules (private rooms available for families). Reservations via booking sites.

When to Visit
Late-night layover — Baths close at 24:00 but the capsule hotel is open overnight. After the last train at ~23:xx, Sorano-Yu + taxi the next morning is a viable alternative to sleeping in the airport.
Early departure — Capsule hotel checkout is 9:00. Shuttle back to T2/T3 runs in the morning. Confirm the first shuttle time at the front desk on arrival.
Long layover (5h+) — Bath, rest, eat, sleep. A full half-day reset without leaving the Narita area.
FAQ
Can I use the restaurant without paying for the bath?
Yes. The restaurant "Ama no Gawa" is open to walk-in guests without an entry plan.
Does the shuttle go to Terminal 1?
No. The Sorano-Yu shuttle only serves Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. T1 passengers take the free inter-terminal bus to T2 first (~10 min), then catch the Sorano-Yu shuttle.
I have a tattoo. Can I use the baths?
Small tattoos that fit within your palm are allowed in the public baths. Larger tattoos require the private room (reservation required, additional fee). The restaurant and rest areas have no restrictions.
Can I leave my airport luggage there?
No coin lockers are available. You can leave suitcases at the luggage storage area at the front desk. The facility can also assist with domestic delivery (Yamato etc.) on request.
What time does the last shuttle bus leave back to the airport?
Check the timetable on the official access page at soranoyu.com — departure times vary by season. Always confirm at the front desk before your final bath.
